1. Course registration and registrant alignment with courses
DCR designs each course to meet the needs of specific audiences. Anyone is welcome to register; however, registration does not guarantee enrollment—DCR Education exceptionally determines if a registrant’s profile aligns with the course design and intended audience.

2. Course registration deadlines
Please complete your registration 1 week before the course starting date at the latest; for courses, registration closes 1 week before the course starting date.
3. Course enrollment
For each course, minimum and maximum numbers of participants exist, depending on the course. After registration, registrants aligned with the course’s design and intended audience are enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. Course waitlist
If registration closes or course enrollment reaches its maximum, you can place yourself on a waitlist for the course by emailing education.dcr@unibe.ch and adding “Waiting List [Course Title]” as the subject.
5. Course payment
Payment is due at registration. An additional 5 CHF will be charged for issuing invoices (optional) per instance. If a registrant’s profile is not accepted, payment is returned to the registrant.
6. Cancelling the course due to insufficient enrollment or extenuating circumstances
A minimum number of participants are required to run courses. DCR informs enrolled participants when a course is canceled once registration deadlines pass and refunds payment to enrolled participants. DCR has no further liability. Enrollment remains if the course is postponed and carries over to the new date.
7. Cancelling registration
Cancel enrollment by emailing education.dcr@unibe.ch no later than 15 business days before the start of a course for a refund of any paid course fee, minus the course cancellation fee.
If enrollment is cancelled fewer than 15 days before the start of a course, registrants are refunded 50% of course fees minus the course cancellation fee.
If warranted, DCR Education considers extenuating circumstances in cases of cancelled registrations within 15 days of course starting date, minus the course cancellation fee.
