Ueli Reber studied molecular biology at the University of Berne and completed his PhD with a gene therapy project. After his studies, Ueli worked for several years in the pharmaceutical industry as a Product Manager. There he was responsible for marketing and communication of established and newly launched drugs. Subsequently, Ueli was an independent consultant in the healthcare industry for more than ten years, focusing on marketing, communication, strategic and operational development, pricing, access, and value demonstration. Ueli also holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Health Economic Evaluation and Health Technology Assessment.
At DCR, Ueli is Head of Business Operations and responsible for developing the department into a professional academic unit with a financially sustainable business model. In his role, Ueli ensures that the department can continue to grow by providing high-quality services and developing into a nationally outstanding service center for clinical research.
