Dr. Shirin Heidari is the founder and executive director of GENDRO. She is also a senior researcher at the Gender Centre at the Geneva Graduate Institute and one of the authors of the SAGER guidelines, which were recently adopted by WHO.
During her talk, Dr. Shirin Heidar offers an overview of the rationale and significance of the SAGER guidelines, highlighting the importance of these guidelines’ aim to address sex and gender bias in research evidence generation, and improve quality and transparency of research conduct and reporting.
