Prof. Meinel is head of the Neuro Emergency Department and group leader at the Swiss Center for Stroke and Brain Health at Inselspital, Bern. His work focuses on the interface between neurology and cardiology. He is the global PI of DO-IT and other prospective studies on stroke in anti- coagulated patients, covert brain infarction and cardiac imaging for stroke work-up.
