Lum Kastrati, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist specializing in meta-research on real-world evidence, with a particular focus on observational target trial emulations. He earned his PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Bern and completed a research stay with Stanford University's METRICS group. Currently, he is a resident physician and leads the Clinical Trial Design and Performance module within the CAS in Translational Medicine at the University of Bern.
