Medical Data Science

Medical Data Science is the discipline of making medical data useful. It brings together three approaches:

  1. Descriptive analysis: exploring data to gain inspiration
  2. Machine learning: generating hypotheses and models
  3. Statistics: testing hypotheses to guide decisions

This requires programming and data handling, statistical reasoning, and medical expertise.

Our services

We support clinical researchers where there is a need to integrate large amounts of unstructured data or to synthesize existing evidence for study planning. Our team is actively involved in clinical trial consultations, helping to design studies that are efficient and aligned with actual clinical and scientific needs. We are currently developing a tool for evidence synthesis that integrates unstructured data and systematic reviews to better inform clinical trial design and decision making.
