Data Management

The Data Management division is your partner for secure and efficient management of clinical study data across different study types and sizes. Its services include eCRF design, reporting and data visualization, data import and migration, support, change and user management.

Two clinical data management systems (REDCap® and secuTrial) and two service models are available:

  • Full Service (recommended option): Complete database setup managed by DCR Data Management according to HRA and GCP guidelines.  
  • REDCap® Light: The study team implements the database and manages everything around it. Upon request, DCR Data Management provides support during database implementation, randomization, performs a technical database review or takes over the task of archiving your database according to HRA and GCP guidelines. 
    Please note: this service is only available to members of the University of Bern and its University hospital.

Continuous updates on our systems are provided in all cases, along with access to the community forum, manuals and the REDCap® implementation course.

Data Imports We handle the entire process of data imports, from analyzing source data to preparing and quality-checking imported data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Data Validation Reports We generate data validation reports, including query reports, to identify and address any discrepancies or errors in your data.
