Launch of the Women's Health Research Hub
Women's Health remains a neglected, underfunded, and underresearched area in Global Health. Although women make up just over half of the global population, menopause, for instance, remains one of the most overlooked and misunderstood phases in women's lives all over the world.
The Women's Health Research Hub launched by the University of Bern's Competence Center of Global Mental Health Research aims to engage with women not only as patients, but as active partners in identifying key issues that matter to them, setting priority areas in research, and contributing to the co-design, monitoring, and evaluation of solutions
