The Study Nurse Course provides participants with the essentials knowledge and skills for contributing to clinical trials. It focuses on the daily tasks of study nurses and study coordinators. |

- Ethics committees and swissmedic authorization procedures
- Introduction to Good Clinical Practice
- Reading study protocol
- Participant information and informed consent form
- Storage and documentation for study drugs and medical devices
- Source data and documents
- Maintaining the Trial Master File and Investigator Site File
- Reporting of adverse events
- Study nurse and study coordinator role and responsibility
- Monitoring, audits, and inspections
- Specific aspects of clinical research at Inselspital

Target Group
|
The Study Nurse Course is designed for study nurses and study coordinators, however, all other persons involved in the clinical trials practical implementation are also welcome.
The course is intended both for prospective study personnel and for study personnel who have already gained some experience in clinical research, but who would like to deepen their knowledge. |
